00450 Tight Fit® Chucking Spud For Threaded Shank Drill Bits and Tools

The Chucking Spud allows TightFit® threaded shank drill bits and other threaded tools to be used conventionally/normally with your standard power drill. There is also the added benefit of reduced tool change times. It is made of mild carbon steel (1144) and has a body length of 5/8″ and diameter of 3/8″ with 1/4-28 UNF-2B internal threads, a shank diameter of 1/4″ with a shank length of 1-1/4″ and is black oxided to prevent corrosion while enhancing appearance.

Note: Must be used with TightFit® threaded shank drill bits or other threaded items.
